Afternoon Tea is served daily 15.00 - 17.00
A thoughtfully constructed menu and we enjoyed the Asian flavours in a couple of them. The wine list was excellent and the staff friendly - it was a nice touch having the manager pop around to greet everyone during the meal and the chefs.
eveything was perfect!
Wonderful experience having afternoon tea for my birthday, had a very memorable time. 1st class service, total attention to detail and excellent food.
Thank you - A splendid afternoon tea to celebrate the birthday of a friend
Most of the courses were excellent. The bread and better was amazing.
After bringing my friend for an afternoon celebration tea, I would like to thank the Manager for exquisite service and attention, and the chef for the delightful tea. Look forward to next time!
Excellent service as usual
We came for afternoon tea yesterday. It was lovely and the food was very good, although being a baker myself and given the cost I was expecting something a bit more. The sandwiches were a little boring. The merengue was delicious. The raspberry cheesecake was tasty, but the base didn't hold together and dropped off my fork as I was lifting to my plate :( The sausage roll was super super yummy! The plain scone was dry but fruit was very good. We would have liked to been asked where we would have liked to sit, we were told we were in the sitting room (I think?) If we had paid £15 pp in a local coffee shop we would have been over the moon, but we did have bigger expectations from whatley manor (having stayed here twice before too!)
