We’ve recently noticed an explosion of noodle spots in the city. Walk down any street and you’re faced with Thai places, Chinese treats, and Japanese hotspots.  Whether you’re looking for hot and spicy, sweet and sour, or mellow and mild, the best noodles in Liverpool are right this way. So let’s go on a culinary tour of our favourites.

Sapporo

If having delicious food literally thrown at you is your thing, then Sapporo should be top of your list of Asian restaurants in Liverpool. This Japanese teppanyaki spot is famous for the antics of its chefs, from throwing fire to juggling food, it’s part dinner, part entertainment whenever you visit.Their dishes range from sushi and sashimi to yakisoba noodle dishes where you can choose from chicken, beef, seafood, or veggies to accompany your delicious noodles.

Tiger Rock City

Describing their cuisine as “East Asian hawker food” the team at Tiger Rock go above and beyond  to create dishes that are true to their origins, whether that’s Thai, Chinese, Malaysian, or many other regions. There’s everything from small bowls of barbecued lamb satay skewers, to classic pad Thai, and char sui dishes on offer, with a selection of bellinis specially designed to wash it all down. It’s almost obligatory to try the mango sticky rice pudding when you visit, a delicious dessert that really tops off the experience.

Chaophraya

If you’re looking for the best noodles in Liverpool with a bit of pizazz, you can’t go far wrong with Chaophraya. This upmarket Thai restaurant is a great place for a special dinner with opulent furnishings and decor complimenting their beautifully presented food. Try either their a la carte menu which features all your usual favourite Thai dishes, or go all out with a set menu or choose Set Kingdom of Lanna Thai tapas for just £37 pp. One of our favourite things about Chaophraya are their cocktails, so be sure to grab a signature one to enjoy with your meal.

Yee Rah Wok & Grill

Not sure what you fancy? Perhaps you’re looking for the best noodles in Liverpool, perhaps you might change your mind? Then Yee Rah is the place to be. Inspired by world cuisine, their menu is an eclectic mix of Asian, Mexican, and Indian food, served up alongside burgers, ribs, and steaks. We’re huge fans of their wok dishes featuring classics like pad thai, Singapore noodles, and sweet and sour chicken, all sure to feed your Asian food craving. Best of all, Yee Rah is super child friendly, offering the little ones classic choices like sausage and mash alongside exotic plates like Singapore noodles.
