To say we love cocktails is an understatement. From a punchy mojito to a sweet manhattan, there are so many cocktails on offer and so little time to try them all. So we’re going to save you some time by listing only the best cocktail bars in Dublin for you to get your fix.

Drop Dead Twice

You bring it, they mix it, we love it! What are we gibbering on about you ask? Drop Dead Twice is Dubin’s first and only bring your own cocktail bar, where you bring your own spirit and the expert mixologists take care of the rest. Located in the historically steeped Christchurch neighbourhood, Drop Dead Twice is cool with its bold yellow and black exterior and inside is just as cool with the dimly lit bar and buzzy atmosphere. If you’re looking for something a little bit different from regular cocktails in a bar then head here.

Foley's Bar

Located in the heart of Dublin City, Foley’s is a late bar with three floors all providing something to keep you entertained. From delicious Irish food, beers and ciders, and what you’re here for, cocktails! Fronted by one of Dublin’s top mixologists, Tom Doran, you’ll be sipping on some premium cocktails ranging from the classics to some trendy new mixes.

Situated in the cool and classic Westbury Hotel, Sidecar is the ideal place to go for cocktails that pack a punch. Whether its catch ups over cocktails, or a date night drink, Sidecar is a stylish and modern take on a 1930s cocktail bar that lends itself to a sophisticated evening out.

Cocktails this week? Say yes to NOLita. A classic Italian eatery with a New York bar, Nolita offers a great rooftop vibe in the heart of Dublin’s city centre. NoLIta prides itself on being one of the cities most loved night spots. With live entertainment, top class DJs and expert mixologists, these guys will have you dancing from the early evening into the wee hours.

Not only great for Thai food but Saba have proven that they are a dab hand at cocktails too. The bar area is always buzzing so make sure you have a reservation so you can relax and keep the cocktails flowing. If you’re looking for some recommendations they do a great mojito and their ‘Phuket passion’ cocktail, charged with Champagne and Chambord is a treat.

If you’re familiar with Dublin hotspots, then no doubt you’ll have heard of 777, George Street’s favourite Mexican destination. No matter if it’s a big group or a small gathering, 777 serves up an array of delicious cocktails and small plates. A note for cocktail lovers, On Mondays they serve up two for one margaritas and on Sundays you can enjoy cocktails for €7.77 – all we have to say is proceed with caution…
