As ever, reliable service and food - great advert for the city as echoed by my visitors from all over the country. Remains Liverpools best establishment IMHO.
Fantastic value for a beautiful Sunday Roast. The starter was amazing! Lovely wine too. Great service too. It just keeps getting better and better. We had a wonderful meal for my last minute birthday celebration - thank you!
Great food and service. as always
We enjoyed our visit on 14th September, staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty and the 'early bird' deal was very good indeed. Only a small query regards 'seasonal vegetables' - we expected a mixture of vegetables but just received a bowl of broccoli. Only a minor point and certainly didn't spoil the enjoyment of our meals. Only four stars for atmosphere as there weren't many diners in the resturant at the time.
Thank you for making our day very special! Each of our guest truly enjoyed the food! We look forward to book our next event at 60 Hope Street. UKeasy Travel
Excellent service very attentive without rushing you Well cooked food
Overall service was decent, although I asked for veal to be medium rare and it came well done. Starters were not really to our taste so asked if my wife could choose a starter from the set menu, this was refused point blank so she ended up with spag Bol, as a starter? Not unpleasant but wouldn't return.
Lovely afternoon tea, helpful staff and pleasant atmosphere.
Very quiet in the restaurant on a Friday night. Food was decent. Service was OK.
Booking process was easy on line Food was excellent Ambience good
We had an excellent meal, professionally served, in beautiful surroundings. We just couldn't understand why the restaurant was relatively empty on a Friday evening.
Thoroughly enjoyed our evening - the food was superb - I had the best piece of fish I have ever had - will definitely return
Food was exceptional. We were running a little late so rang ahead and the restaurant were very helpful in pushing the table back 30 mins. Fantastic good, lovely venue and down to earth very friendly and professionl staff.
Fantastic food and fantastic service. I highly recommend anyone booking 60 hope street you won't be disappointed.
Celebrated my 60th birthday downstairs, the staff were fantastic, the food was gorgeous and the ambience was brilliant All my friends said they had a great time and what a lovely venue!!! The Sunday Roast was superb and for the value was fantastic, definitely book again for a big event,my friends and I go regularly for an evening meal and it is always superb
Considering our experience started badly, as I had to complain about a member of staff when we went to pay; a few weeks earlier. The day itself was lovely, the staff were friendly and attentive and the food was delicious!
Quality all round. My wife and I had a great evening.
amazing food, brilliant service and great location. really loved the wine menu as it varied in price so there was something for everyone. can't wait to go again
Outstanding food and wine. We were celebrating my husband's 60th birthday. Would love to try afternoon tea on our next visit
Excellent food in a fine converted town house.
Great place and great food.
Really enjoyed our meals. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Mum enjoyed her dessert with ' Happy Birthday ' on the plate, a nice touch.
Booked in for Afternoon Tea for my best friends birthday. We had a fabulous time and the food was perfect. Tea was the nicest cuppa I've had in a long time. I was particularly impressed with the gentleman who greeted us on arrival. We watched as he ran to the steps outside to help a little old lady up the steps and to her seat. The staff are a real credit to you. We will definitely be making a return visit very soon! Fantastic!
