Absolutely lovely afternoon tea with my mum on Friday. Loved the little details like mismatched the china and the coffee served in a teapot, and the cocktails were amazing! The cakes and scones were absolutely delicious, and the sandwich fillings were extremely generous. In such a lovely part of Liverpool too, we will definitely be making a return visit!
Delicious freshly prepared food
We had a wonderful evening celebrating a Diamond Wedding Anniversary. The atmosphere, friendliness of the staff and the quality of the food were all second to none. Many thanks !
I thought the meal was fantastic I regularly come here so I know what to expect
Sandwiches were lovely and fresh. Cakes were nice but meringues pathetic and no cream on them! Scones were tiny. Not really good value for money
I booked for my parents 50th wedding anniversary and they loved it. They both said the staff were very nice and attentive, food was superb. A big thank you for making their evening special with the little extra touches you gave them. Will definitely book again
On Saturday the 14th of March my husband and I had our wedding ceremony and meal at your venue. We would both like to say a huge thank you for your hospitality. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Laura & Haileigh especially were excellent at helping plan the day and ensuring everything ran smoothly on the day. The ceremony room and wedding table looked beautiful, the food was delicious and the service excellent. Once again thank you for making this day even more special for us. We'll be seeing you soon :)
Excellent food. Thoroughly delicious meal.
I took my Mum to 60 Hope Street last night for dinner before attending the Philharmonic for an 83rd birthday treat. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. So attentive from the moment we arrived but never intrusive. The food and whole experience was wonderful.
Food was delicious and good value as we had the early bird menu
Excellent as usual
Thank you for a lovely afternoon-one of the nicest afternoon teas that we have had.
Always a pleasure to come back to 60 Hope Street.
Lovely meal in great surroundings. Attentive staff who looked after us well.
Sent this to you yesterday Hello Dined with you last evening. Food and service were good but we were concerned how cramped we were on the banquette seats at the rear right hand side of your restaurant. It was difficult to access the seats and to manoeuvre due to the proximity of other tables and excessive cushions etc. We felt that we had very little room and in view of the current coronavirus recommendations perhaps you might consider more space between dining parties. Thank you. Lynda Mears
All good and catered well for GF. Have already booked again for the next time w have a concert at the Phil.Thank you.
Too noisy quiet area next time please
Great service, lovely & friendly. Had a delicious afternoon tea!
We had the plant based menu and it was delicious
Food beautiful staff very welcoming and attentive
Limited choice of mocktails as they had run out of fresh fruit. Portion size of lemon sole was small for the price paid
Waiters are very attentive and service quick. Good size portions on the three course Sunday lunch. An ideal restaurant to couple with visits to the cathedrals, theatre and music venues nearby.
Lovely food, lovely staff, would highly recommend
fabulous restaurant only slight criticism our mains arrived immediately after the order of bread and olives. Otherwise everything was excellent.
We visited Friday. The restaurant was cold. Some people had their coats on! Staff & food were lovely but atmosphere was non existent. Also lights too bright & a few bits of artwork on the walls would enhance, in my opinion, the restaurant. But that is my opinion!
