Afternoon Tea is served from 3.00pm Thursday to Saturdays
Afternoon tea was good and just the right quantity. The tea itself was fresh, strong and unlimited. Service was first class: attentive yet discrete. We've had lunch previously here and enjoyed that too.
Difficult to see how such apparently good ingredients could result in so little flavour :-(
Another fine meal as always
We had a lovely lunch, excellent food and great atmosphere. Thanks
Wonderful food, fantastic service and so very friendly and welcoming!!
What a find. Really good service, friendly staff and excellent food
Another beautiful meal, flawless..
The food was excellent and beautifully presented: good-sized portions but not too much. The service was excellent: friendly and relaxed yet efficient and professional.
My husband and I had a lovely meal. Everyone was very attentive. Excellent food and service. Would recommend to family and friends
Lovely meal thanks
first time . thoroughly enjoyed the day and I will be coming back food and service was excellent .thank you for a lovely afternoon.
our first visit really worth the trip
Excellent as always!
My girlfriend has a gluten intolerance and we were amazed at the choice on both the ordinary and gluten free menus. We will definitely be coming back!
Great to have a separate gluten free menu and also one for vegetarians, thanks. Our lunch was delicious and beautifully presented, service impeccable. Will definitely be booking again.
Service was not very good. Seemed very rushed and got very confused with order. Gave the wrong steak to wrong person.
Our first visit for dinner and definitely not our last. Up there with the best that the region has to offer ... and there is a lot of competition. Modern, tasty, beautifully presented food , great wines...friendly staff, lovely atmosphere .. look forward to our next visit.
Lovely meal especially the gluten and dairy free puddings option
This has to be my favourite place for joining family and friends for lunch. I always look forward to coming and have never been disappointed. Have also brought "Hubby" for breakfast and dinner which was delicious too.
A really great night out well worth a visit
First time we had been since the considerable changes, which have almost doubled the capacity. The food was as good as it always was. The service was a little slower, but maybe that is to be expected now that there are more covers to deal with. Car parking is a little difficult especially now there are more tables, but it is difficult to see how this could be improved since outside space is very limited. Since the Deli is now separated from the restaurant, the previous temptation to take home some really scrumptious cakes whilst paying the bill has been removed unless a special effort is made to leave via the Deli. It is a bit of a shame that the gift shop that used to be a part of the Deli has now gone since it had some very nice things especially round Christmas time but there is no space for these any more. But at the end of the day, this is now a good restaurant with a Deli rather than the other way round and progress has meant some things have to give. And we will definitely be back and would very much recommend to those who haven't tried it to do so, you won't be disappointed.
Thoroughly enjoyable lunch
Lovely evening - great food. What an asset to Whalley and the Ribble Valley. Fine dining at its best. Many thanks. Fran
