Hi there. The Lunch that my wife & I had yesterday was superb. The service, the table, the view, the three courses we had were flawless. In particular, the lady waitress that served us yesterday who might be from Kenya with her accent is a credit to the capabilities and perfection of the management. The staff of this calibre are rare and make the dining experience all that more stunning. Sorry did not get her name but she has been there for a few years as I remember her from our last stay. Well done a lunch to remember. Loved the Rhubarb Cheesecake. Kind regards Gordon
Lovely staff, tasty food and a gorgeous view, thank you :)
Great views and lovely afternoon tea
The afternoon tea was excellent. We have had quite a few afternoon teas and this was up there with the best.
The host was so lovely and made us feel very welcome, ensuring everything was the way it should be.
Afternoon tea was delicious
Excellent service, very pleasant staff who were very attentive. The restaurant is lovely with beautiful views over the Loch. We had afternoon tea which was lovely, we couldn’t finish it all but the waitress packed a box for us to take with us.
A lovely relaxing birthday afternoon.
This was a gift for my mums birthday and I am so glad I took her here. She loved it and so did I. The staff were lovely and the food was just amazing. Will be back x
Food and setting were amazing. Staff were very accommodating and nothing was a problem for them. Great service!
We had a 3 course meal included in an itison booking. We loved that we got bread rolls and butter before the starters, free of charge. The whole meal was delicious from start to finish, especially the fish and chips which I cannot recommend enough. Although very expensive, it is worth it for a treat.
Anita and her team including Katu were amazing 😉 and we will definitely be back. Anita provides world 🌎 class customer service thank you 😊 again Anita
We enjoyed a delicious morning tea and the service was great.
Unfortunately visited when renovation work going on in the restaurant, this limiting widow seating and noisy at breakfast time.
Amazing service brought an amazing meal for both of us no faults whatsoever
Pros: Staff where very attentive and professional, they knew who we were and tried to get us a good table each time. The views through the large windows are amazing Food was served promptly Food in the main was nice particularly the deserts, amazing to be fair Cons: Before we visited we got an email to encourage us to book tables before our visits which we did. Then three days before we were due to arrive we was told renovations works would be carried out in the restaurant. As it was So close to our arrival we didn’t have time to consider whether we would want to stay somewhere that had banging and sawing going on, this was a special occasion being a birthday and wedding anniversary. Our first night we must of had 7 different people serve us which led to things we had asked for being forgotten The menu is limited and was the same for both nights On both nights they didn’t have the fish stated on the menu so we had to have a substitute The cheese board was very uninspired.
Friendly staff and prompt service
The staff were lovely and helpful, the food was utterly delicious and the restaurant was beautiful. The only slight issue was there were a few flies annoying us while we ate but this was to be expected on the shore on a beautiful day. All in all I’d highly recommend.
Wow! We came here for our first anniversary after meeting here the year before The attention to detail was impeccable and the senior host provided us with a complimentary glass of fizz to help us celebrate. We were overwhelmed by the whole experience and can’t wait to return. Thank you!
Staff were very accommodating, we were a little earlier than our booking time however we were moved to a table by the window to enjoy the view on what was a lovely day. My vegetarian classic afternoon tea was delicious and very filling with warm savoury dish included as well as selection of finger sandwiches. My family very much enjoyed their sparkling afternoon tea and commented that their meat based savoury dish was really good. In all the best afternoon tea we’ve had made even better by the incredible views over the Loch and warm friendly staff. Thank you
Beautiful setting, loving the view from the new windows. Staff very cheerful and attentive and food tasting wonderful.
Enjoyed a lovely meal from the service to the standard of the food it was excellent we thoroughly enjoyed it x
The restaurant could have been a bit warmer we had to move to the table at the fire as my wife was cold and uncomfortable but apart from this the staff we’re very helpful and friendly.
Superb setting, lovely rooms.
Service excellent, rooms excellent food excellent but drink a bit expensive.
