About Harbour Lights at The Sefton
Harbour Lights Cafe and Restaurant was established in Peel in 1996 in what was originally the harbour masters office and custom house. During the past 19 years our cafe and restaurant has provided local residents and visitors to the Isle of Man with a warm and friendly welcome.
We offer simple fayre using the best quality local ingredients whenever possible which we prepare honestly using traditional recipes and methods. We are a family business in the true sense of the word and many of our excellent staff have been with us since the beginning.
Afternoon Tea is served daily 12.00 - 17.00
We had an excellent all round experience. We were very impressed with the food, ambience etc. We will definitely visit again.
It was cold no atmosphere not what we expected so we won't be going back
Highly recommend the ‘bottomless brunch’, the food was lovely and the service was great, the staff were very attentive and friendly, offered us lots of drinks and even took a photo for us. I would definitely go again.
We had such a fun time at the bottomless brunch. Faultless service despite the delay caused by the table before us being an hour late for their reservation. The food was tasty, fresh and filling. Friendly staff who helped make the whole experience fabulous.
Despite an extremely busy morning the staff were friendly and efficient. We were a party of 6 and will definitely be back.
When we first arrived we placed our drinks order and then it took about 20 minutes before they arrived. Other than that everything was great.
Brilliant, Friendly staff
The food is always lovely, however please warm the scones in the oven not the microwave, many thanks
The food was well presented hot and tasted good. Service on occasion wa slow but restaurant was busy. Young girl serving drinks very friendly, approachable and welcoming.
We had an amazing time and felt that the bottomless brunch was such good value that we have booked again for February
Lovely afternoon tea, great service, great atmosphere and great value for money
We had a really fantastic day and the service was great, I would definately recommend the Bottomless Brunch and have infact already booked for next week.
What a total let down our Christmas Lunch was for the price we paid it was shocking! Firstly we were not even in the restaurant put on a table at the back by the drafty back doors and two of us looking at a wall, no Christmas decorations in that room it was like we were added on as an after thought, to pay that much money you would be expected to at least have sat us in the main part of the restaurant. No butter served with the bread or lemon with the prawn starter, you could have at least put some tomato and cucumber in with the prawn cocktail and made a bit more effort. The soup was served luke warm at best but was tasty. The two beef was asked to be medium rare more like med to well done, the turkey dinner was not much to look at a bit pathetic to be honest but to not even have any potatoes, parsnips etc or any effort put in with the veg was a disgrace. The raspberry cheesecake was nice but the Christmas pudding was dry and again served bearly luke warm. Overall a poor effort for the money we paid and very disappointed.
We had a fabulous time for our Botttomless Brunch fab food & drinks loved it we’ll done to the staff Merry Christmas 🎄🎅
We had our office Christmas Lunch there and the food was spectacular.
The gin afternoon tea was something different and good value considering we had 4-5 Gins. The explanation of each gin was interesting and it was really nice to have a go at flavouring the gin. The times available were unusual (late afternoon) and it was very quiet which lacked atmosphere. Would definitely recommend the afternoon teas here. This is my second afternoon tea and they always have a special twist which make them more memorable than others.
Fabulous girlie morning/afternoon
Wonderful Christmas party, enjoyed by all, thank you very much :)
Love taking Afternoon Tea at the Sefton. Staff are always attentive and friendly. Food is good, though I would prefer more cakes and fewer sandwiches. However the warm scones are always a winner. For a catch-up with friends or a special occasion I would always recommend Harbour Lights at the Sefton. Thank You!
Very good venue with good service and food.
\\;ate Friday lunch time, totally relaxed - no pressure to move on. Love the place. Third or fourth visit - can't wait for the next. Only downside: no salads - which I had actually set my mind on - but overall; top notch.
Lovely food. Really great service and we were a big party.
Excellent Sunday Lunch! Fantastic service and food! Will return!
My husband had the liver and bacon which was lovely but he only received one very thin slice 😩 which is not good for the price
