About Afternoon Tea
Indulge in one of our mouth-watering afternoon teas in the luxurious surroundings of The Olive Tree Garden Room or historic Manor House.
Afternoon Tea is served Monday to Sunday 1.00pm - 3.00pm
Very good afternoon tea. Helpful and polite staff. Would definitely go again.
Lovely afternoon tea
Celtic manor is by far the best for afternoon tea. The service is friendly and the food is amazing. So many different flavours in one sitting. Highly recommended for all ages.
We loved the whole experience of our Afternoon Tea so much that before leaving we pre booked Afternoon Tea for ourselves, our daughter and her partner on Christmas Eve
Everything was excellent
Table was far too small for our party. Although there were other tables available we were not offered to move. We had 4 in our party and 1 of our guests had special dietary requirements meaning we have 3 stands on our table which was too crowed. Our requirements were made clear when booking our lodge and the afternoon tea and I would have expected our seating arrangements to accommodate this.
why increase the price so much at the weekend?
Such a long way from car park. Walking through corridors without seeing a soul, no atmosphere at all, very flat. Food was good, although the 10% added on was a little cheeky I felt as a £14 tip a little bit excessive for sandwiches and cakes in the afternoon. Wont be rushing back sorry!
We were disappointed. Not a great selection especially for the children. A cheese sandwich that I had in particular had around 12 shavings of grated cheese and the sweet pickle that was supposed to accompany the cheese was non existent in any of the cheese sandwiches for the party. I would not recommend your afternoon tea for children. I would of expected a more child friendly catering for the children but that was not the case. The service wasn't great either. We waited a length of time for the children's afternoon tea to arrive after the adults. You would think it would be the other way around. All in all very disappointed. I won't return.
Staff were not attentive; took half an hour to even be offered our first drinks and then no one came back over to ask if everything was ok or if we wanted any more drinks. We sat at the table for 20 minutes after we finished before we realised we didn’t pay at the table.
Excellent service, excellent food, wonderful surroundings, fantastic venue
We had an absolute lovely afternoon spent with you yesterday celebrating friends birthday. The service was brilliant & the food was extremely tasty & plentiful. We were talked through the menu & the types of tea that is served & my friend was able to substitute a few food items with no issue. It’s my first time visiting the resort & although it’s size service & experience certainly has not been compromised. My friend & I did however stay for over 3hrs & had to pay £6 parking, which did seem expensive but that’s my only negative. I would highly recommend the afternoon tea
I cannot begin to tell you how disappointed I was with the poor quality of the tea. Some of the bread was stale. One sandwich had no visible filling. The patisserie were a disgrace - falling apart, misshapen and unpleasant to eat. Pastry was under-cooked. I certainly will not be returning and will not be recommending the tea. Such a shame.
Our waiter, Matthew, and waitress, Helen, were very attentive and gave excellent service. This made our visit all the more enjoyable. We consider our afternoon tea a 5 star experience.
Afternoon tea was lovely, we had a vegan guest with us who was catered for very well & not just with a salad & fruit which has happened before!! Would return again
Had a lovely day and the staff very welcoming
The best afternoon tea I’ve ever had
The afternoon tea booking system works okay, but editing the booking resulted in no confirmation email. On logging in again the booking had not been updated. I had to email the front desk in the end. Also didn't find a map on the website. So i couldn't find pictures of the restaurant. If I had realised thàt the Manor House wasn't as idyllic as the usual afternoon tea location i would have booked for the following Saturday. My family and I were quite disappointed with the Manor House. The service was excellent however. We found the signpost labels in the hotel have difficult to follow, clearly there were plenty of signs for the Manor House Suite, but very little for the Manor House itself.
Disappointed with the location, disappointed with the cakes, one of which was more like a wet trifle and couldn't be scooped onto a side plate. In comparison with the Christmas afternoon tea that I booked between Christmas and New Year last year this latest visit was very poor and not worth the money. I wouldn't recommend to friends - sorry
Lovely experience but wasn't impressed with the food , not of my taste . Service amazing and friendly . Found it expensive as I didn't enjoy the food selection .
Thoroughly pleasant afternoon. Delightful food, excellent service, highly recommended
A lovely experience!
Absolutely beautiful, couldn't fault it.Thank you so much.I will be booking again soon.
