About Signature Lounges
Designed by the world renowned milliner, Philip Treacy, the g has three stunning Signature Lounges each unique in it's own personality ensuring our guests can relax in comfort and in style. From the calming Grand Salon adorned by 300 twinkling mirror balls which reflect the waters of Lough Atalia, to the distinctly ‘pink’ Ladies Lounge and the plush Blue Gentleman’s Lounge.
The Signature Lounges are perfect for casual dining with food served from 11am – 10pm and a wide choice from g Bites to main-courses and tempting treats on the menu. Our Lounge menu is served all day with soup and sandwiches and hot dishes served between 11.00am-5.30pm and our evening menu is served from 5.30pm - 10.30pm.
Lovely meal, good service
Lovely atmosphere and service, very enjoyable afternoon tea
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to The G
Excellent tea, we really enjoyed ourselves. It would have been nice for the waiter to explain each of the items on the tray would be my only comment.
We loved your spa and hotel Amazing atmosphere
A big drop in standards.
Honestly food was average and service was slow and pretty poor, with the group having to constantly call the attention of the staff for missing items. I had invited some overseas work colleagues and was somewhat let down by the experience.
Service was fantastic, everyone commented on how good and helpful our server was. Thanks for a lovely afternoon!
I loved having afternoon tea at the G and the fact that I was catered for as a vegan .The selection of food was creative and tasty. Will come again
Such a lovely evening. Food was beautiful. Staff were so accommodating, lovely and relaxed, great menu options. Great value for money with movie and dinner deal. Already recommended it to so many. Definately be back!
Desserts were poor. Eton Mess and Cheesecake both lacking in flavour, tasted very mass produced. Also, when paying, I found out that our voucher was for the restaurant, not the lounge. When booking, I said I had a voucher but was never asked where for.
Lovely food and atmosphere.Friendly attentive staff.Well worth a visit.
Great service, were able to accomidate us 1 hour before our booking at short notice. Highly recommend.
Service provided by two young men both were very polite and welcoming. Food was lovely and served promptly.
The food was excellent however we felt that the service was poor, upon arrival I had to wait almost 7 mins to be approached about my booking at the till point near the pink room. When we required service we kept having to make eye contact & raise our hands for service,we had to do this for water, additional coffee, the bill & then payment of the bill. I found this quite annoying for a 5 star hotel. Fiona
Lovely staff and setting
Myself and my sister had a lovely time at The G Hotel for afternoon tea. It felt really special. The only downside was that we felt we would have preferred more savoury sandwiches instead of so many sweet things. Or perhaps an option to have more sandwiches. The staff were excellent and really helpful. So much so that I'd say if we requested more sandwiches we would have got what we wanted.
Had a lovely afternoon tea here with friends
We had a lovely time in the G for afternoon tea
Excellent service never felt rushed at all. Lovely food plenty off top up for tea and coffee.
Good food and lovely stuff.
Had a lovely afternoon in The G for afternoon tea to celebrate our friends birthday. The desserts in the afternoon tea were a little disappointing. I'm more of a desert kinda gal. Sandwiches and scones were fab. We finished off our afternoon tea with 3 fab cocktails. However we found it difficult to get a servers attention (possibly staff giving us privacy) however staff were really friendly an all dealings with them. But overall fab experience and will be back.
Such a lovely experience, will definitely return and recommend to my friends & family.
Afternoon tea was such a disappointment. Communication between staff was of a poor standard
