Absolutely beautiful. Lovely atmosphere, great food and excellent service! When we were there there was a choir for pieta house singing Christmas carols which really added to the ambiance.
We were there for the festive afternoon tea. The food was fine, classic afternoon tea fare with a festive twist. Not bad but not memorable either and for 45euro a head I would have expected better. Simple things were missing, no butter or jam was provided for the scones and the glasses on the table were dirty when we arrived. The atmosphere and service was fine, not great or good, and a little slow. Staff were helpful if called but not very attentive otherwise. For example we asked for the bill and then had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come back to let us pay. We had previously attended this venure for afternoon tea and the price had gone up by €11 since and the only option on the menu for a drink was a €16 glass of champagne, previously there was an €8 prosecco option. This brought the total bill to €61 per person which was, in my opinion, not worth it. I had booked this as a special thank you for my guests but ended up being quite disappointed in my choice. We have been before and enjoyed it but would not come back again.
Lovely atmosphere. Wonderful staff and beautiful food and decor.
Fabulous experience and wonderful customer service
Very disappointing when we booked for 2:30pm we were told table Wasn’t ready would be 10mins. After 15 mins we asked how long it would be as we had a flight to catch and was just told oh yes it been ready a while.
A really nice experience. I surprised my girlfriend for her birthday and she really enjoyed it!
The service was very good. We were seated on the couch by the fire in the lounge which was for me the star seating, I observed some tables I would not have been happy to sit at - on the way to the foyer/toilets and the parlour. Why was the signature afternoon tea priced 45€ rather than the website price of €42? That kind of thing irks me a little. The tea itself was nice. I have a sweet tooth, but I found the tea overall too sweet and the cream was over whipped, almost solid. Afterwards I noticed the many reviews on tripadvisor also highlighted the sweet/savoury imbalance and I also noticed that the management replies on same were generic and robotic giving the impression that feedback is not noted at all. Afternoon tea is never good value! €90 for 2 hours may be better than your competitors, but 2 hours was too short for me and there was definitely a clock on our time. Overall we enjoyed our tea, but I would be advising anyone thinking of Atrium of the above
Lovely staff who were very kind to us. Great Christmas treat.
Lovely afternoon tea
Afternoon tea was delicious, the service was impeccable and the Atrium had a lovely Christmas feel. Five stars all around.
Good service and food.
Excellent service & fantastic atmosphere. Some fabulous festive finishing touches made it all the more special. Thoroughly enjoyed this.
Had a lovely lunch celebrating a birthday. Food was lovely & service was very good.
We had a wonderful lady named Audrey (French!) serving us - she made our visit so enjoyable and couldnt say enough nice things about her!
Lovely venue and excellent food probably one of our favorites until it came to ordering a drink at the end and paying the bill. It was clear that all the staff had finished up and one poor girl was left to service a full room of guests on her own. There were a few people looking for her attention to settle the bill and then when it came to our turn our gift card would not work. The girl eventually went off to investigate further but not before trying to hand the card back to me telling me it did not work. It took 30 min to settle the bill but other than that it was a nice evening.
Great place to meet with people, very easy to organise.
Absolutely lovely afternoon tea, service was brilliant and very professional.. It is expensive however and we were only offered the festive menu. The last time I was there I had a choice of Traditional or Mad Hatters. Also, dissappointing that one glass of prosecco is not included in the price. There was very little cream and jam for the table of four of us and we were not offered any more. Otherwise a lovely afternoon.
The Atrium is a beautiful experience for afternoon tea. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. Perfect for a special occasion or an afternoon treat!
I had rang ahead about special dietary requirements (vegetarian options) and was told it would be no problem for the afternoon tea. Then when I got there, my group was handed menus for gluten free, vegetarian and vegan afternoon tea. Then when one of my group requested the vegan one, I was told it wasn’t possible because I didn’t ring ahead. Although I had mentioned vegetarian requirements, I was still none the wiser that I had to “preorder” that specific afternoon tea. Therefore I was confused as to why I had to “preorder” the vegan one. Also, coffee was served quite cold. Then later when I asked for a pot of strong tea, the pot came just as weak as the others. The atmosphere and Christmas decorations were fabulous but it was those little things that took away from an otherwise lovely afternoon. The staff were also really pleasant and I know they were just following procedure with the menus etc.
My only complaint is after we left The Mint bar I received a phone call accusing me of not paying the bill! I absolutely did pay which I informed the person calling. I never received a follow up call to apologize for the mistake which I thought was bad customer service.
Too expensive for the quality and service. Terrible service, they are not asking about more drinks or tea, you have to be constantly requesting things.
Excellent service as always, very good for catering to any dietary needs. I cannot eat dairy and they had an excellent alternative selection.
Beautiful setting with equally beautiful food.
Beautiful place and nice service
Staff were attentive and checked on us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. Food and beverages were excellent. We were returning customers.
