The Manor Lounge is the perfect location to spoil your loved ones with a decadent afternoon tea prepared by our pastry kitchen, or to begin your evening with an aperitif...and it would be rude not to finish off with a night cap in front of the fire place.
Afternoon Tea is served daily 14.30 - 17.00
I enjoyed the drinks and the main course of beef Fillet but the starter was poor with one single Scallop and a chicken wing served. I sent it back to have the non menu item removed and a second scallop for the Scallops starter I had ordered
Amazing food and drink. Service excellent. Didn't feel rushed. Will definitely come again
We felt the carvery was quite disorganised - dishes kept running out so there were queues, which resulted in the food on the plates going cold. The portion of the meat was quite conservative. The gravy should have been at the end but was in the middle so it was rather chaotic. The deserts were disappointing.
Was obvious that the staff were preparing for other parties that evening but at no point did we feel rushed, which was nice, it was only when everything else had been done that they asked us if we could go to the lounge. A few more savoury sandwiches would have been nice to balance out the sweet. A very pleasurable afternoon. Thank you
We had a lovely time
We had a lovely evening at the Manor Restaurant. We had the tasting menu which was fabulous. The personal there are very professional and service minded. We felt very well looked after.
Some of the sweet additions weren’t great but that wouldn’t prevent us from returning. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon tea and found the service to be well suited and friendly without being too much.
Really enjoyed our Sunday lunch which was a celebration for my son’s birthday. Nice to have the carvery back which gave us a lovely selection of delicious food. Minor negative, I asked for a birthday cake for my son which did not appear! Anyway we enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend Foxhills.
Absolutely excellent sunday lunch. Very tasty. Staff very attentive. Bat staff superb and attentive.
Great venue, staff were brilliant but the drains were blocked and it really smelt. Only ok value for money. The menus we were given had different prices (one menu had £22 for fillet steak and mine said £23). Plenty of wine choice.
fantastic atmosphere and great food
An enjoyable experience, but it would have been nicer to have a few more menu choices.
This was one of the best afternoon teas I have had and I have had a good few over the years including The Savoy and The Ritz. The sandwiches were so fresh, the scones melted in your mouth and the lemon tart and strawberry mouse delicious too. I do wonder sometimes whether you need so many cakes but I know we can always take leftovers home. Will come again
A lovely place to get thoroughly spoilt
A really enjoyable experience at The Manor Restaurant, Foxhills recently. The service was very attentive without feeling intrusive. The meal was delicious and beautifully presented. I will be back.
Meal was lovely however over priced for the portion sizes
I booked to have afternoon tea at the foxhills with my mum and sister for my mums birthday the staff were friendly and very attentive to you. The area it’s set in is so beautiful, the afternoon tea was the best by far I highly recommend and hope to visit again in the future.
Excellent family lunch to celebrate my Mum's birthday. Very well presented food, tasty and hot. Although I would say that instead of being served Sirloin of Beef it was in fact Rump (husband is a butcher!). Lovely table and excellent service from everyone. Made my Mum feel special - thank you.
The food was awful. The halibut was the size of one fish finger. Unexpectedly small for a main course
Excellent service. Food cooked nicely but in my experience of dinning I would of prefered a larger main course which to me was a starter size. The amuse-bouche was a wonderful start with my dessert being the high light if the meal.
We went to Foxhills on the 12th October and the experience was a mixture of good and mediocre. We had a pre-dinner drink in the manor house bar and the beer was on the flat side and was not very cold which was a shame. We had the taster menu and the wine flight. Whilst I appreciate this style of dining we did find some of the portions very small and if it was not for the bread basket I think we would had left hungry. However the presentation and taste was excellent. What was a bit disappointing is that the cheese and port course had a supplementary charge. If we had both gone for cheese and port it would had been an extra 30 pounds on the bill which is slightly excessive. The staff however were good and the wines were explained very well to us which was interesting. Would I go again based upon the overall experience ? Sadly not as I dont think value for money was given.
Super location and great food but spoilt by decoration that looks very tired especially in the Mens toilet.
Please don't change to a Brasserie, which we understand is currently under consideration. Would also like a dress code re-introduced to enhance the elegance and dining experience of the Manor Restaurant .
