As our name suggests, we offer an extensive quality range of wines, champagne and liquors to complement your meal.
Our extremely friendly and helpful staff will make your time here at The Wine House, a truly amazing experience.
The exceptional setting and location lends itself to any kind of event, wedding, birthdays, anniversaries, gala dinners or just relaxing in our stylish bar with cocktails and Canapés. The only limit being your imagination.
Afternoon Tea is served Monday to Friday 12.00 - 17.00 (except bank holidays)
Service was excellent and very friendly staff. Food was good however the starter I had (mozzarella/tomato) did lack enough mozzarella albeit it was very tasty.
Accommodated a party of 30 including children. All communications with all staff have been great and accommodating. All food was well cooked, served hot with no mistakes. Drinks were kept topped up and all staff were attentive. Will definitely be returning.
Brilliant! Absolutely lovely, we all really enjoyed our lunch
I took my mum for your bottomless brunch this weekend for an early birthday treat- we couldn't fault any part of our time with you, the staff were so attentive, polite and welcoming, the food was superb, atmosphere nice and relaxing- I haven't a bad word to say about our experience. Thankyou
Staff were attentive, atmosphere was so warm and welcoming. Food was delicious. For a large party, it was a real treat. Thank you for making our occasion special!
Unfortunately disappointed with our visit yesterday. The drinks were a very poor quality, the cocktails were thrown together and not a great taste or appeareance. The Prosecco was terrible and felt and tasted very cheap. (screwtop?!) No Christmas decorations or feel at all. Turkey dinner was meant to be seasonal vegetables and it was just sprouts. Service was the bare minimum. Unfortunately a disappointing visit.
The only downside was a lack of soap in the ladies toilet and despite reporting this twice it was only placed in there as we left. However a lafy, I think she was Manager, did come and apologise before we left. It is so important to ensure health & hygiene is number one
Another lovely meal at The Wine House, thank you
Enjoyable spent in this Lichfield restaurant.
Every single member of staff was absolutely amazing ! Really friendly and made us feel very welcome. Food was incredible didn’t have to wait long at all for anything (including drinks which by the way were also amazing) the value for money is so good ! I can’t belive we payed £30 each for everything. I have to say because it was endless Prosecco and cocktails I thought we might have to finish our glass and ask for more , but the waitresses kept well on top of things and made sure we didn’t get minimum drinks ! I will definitely be visiting back here agian and I will be telling everyone I know about this place ! Thankyou for such a wounderful time ! :)
Great food & service. "Bottomless" good value for money
Another wonderful meal at The Wine House. The food is always delicious and the staff are great.
Food was great. Restaurant looked great especially with the fire lit 🔥 service was fantastic. Music was the perfect background volume. I know it was a Wednesday night but the atmosphere was lacking a bit. Maybe do a “hump day” special that will get the customers in, in their numbers? Would definitely recommend, as we were there on a recommendation.
Food proportion was tiny, had about 6 tiny prawns on my starter. Cocktails were not great at all! Main course was nice, the cheesecake was horrific! Quite disappointing
Special requests, despite a long notice period, for 50th birthday & 10 year anniversary were not adhered to but a glass of Prosecco each on the house was a small consolation. Will still visit again as the food was fab but perhaps avoid Xmas party season as it was extremely noisy.
Staff were lovely friendly and professional, the snowball could do with being a bit stronger!!
Fantastic food and drink on the Bottomless Lunch deal
Best place to eat, drink and have a good time.
The only thing that let you down for us is the service. Elements of it were first class but other elements disappointing. We had to ask twice for our table while having a drink at the bar despite our booked time having passed. Was pleased that the waiter then carried our drinks to the table. Had already perused the menu at the bar but had to wait some time for our order to be taken once at the table. Food then came quickly. Food was fabulous. Then we had to wait ages for the dishes to be collected. We were not asked if we wanted dessert or coffee. Eventually we left without either. We would definetely return and I hope that the service will match the excellent food.
On the whole a very enjoyable evening. We were a Party of 6 out to celebrate a Birthday. The restaurant was very busy, with a couple of large parties and the reason for the slight delay in being shown to our table and service at the table. Food was excellent, nicely presented and very tasty.
The service from the waitress and barman was exceptional. They are a credit to your organisation
Booked a large party for the bottomless processo lunch and we all had a wonderful time. The food was excellent (steaks and desserts were especially pleasing) and the drinks were topped up promptly when our glasses were empty. The staff who looked after us were very friendly and efficient especially Josh and Catie. All together a lovely afternoon with excellent food and amazing value for money.
I like the Wine House, the food is lovely and the surroundings cosy and inviting. I always feel let down by the service though. It is slow and inattentive and not of the quality you'd expect. They need some more experienced waiting staff.
Dined here many times for the bottomless lunch, never disappointed with food, drink, service & atmosphere... Such a great deal and delivers in all areas.
Food was exceptional, staff were friendly. The only suggestion id make is that we were seated at the table next to the bar and entrance to toilet and members of staff would walk behind us (which is a tight space) whilst we were eating. Though not a big issues it is just something to be mindful of.
